Donation Requests

As a local, independent bookstore, we value all the efforts to make Bozeman and Southwest Montana a better place. We especially value efforts to increase literacy, get books in the hands of kids, and promote reading and talking about books in our community as we believe that books help to make the world a better place. 
 
We receive dozens of donation requests every year, and to better focus our giving and our time, we have established  guidelines for responding to those requests. We wish we could donate to all worthy causes, but since we are just one small business, we do have to make choices.
 
We will consider donation requests made in writing or by email once per month. To be considered, please submit your request (form attached below) prior to the last Tuesday of the month. We will then notify the contact person by the end of the last week of the month if we will be able to donate to your organization and arrange for pick up of the donation.
 
Please take a moment to fill out our donation request application with as much detail as possible, or email the requested information to ariana@countrybookshelf.com ATTN: Donation Request. You may include additional information (brochures, letters, leaflets, donation forms).
