Meet Janet Muirhead Hill, author and publisher, listen to her talk about books, writing, and her company, Raven Publishing, at the Country Bookshelf on Tuesday, February 21, at 7 p.m. Her recently released book Kendall's Storm is the second in a planned trilogy about 11 year old twins separated at age 4 by their divorcing parents.

The three books chronicle different lives, far from each other, of a brother and sister who never forget the bond that held them so closely. Through their separate breathtaking adventures, as they search for each other, they forge their own identities. Kyleah's Tree the first book was published in 2008, and has been reissued with a discussion guide. Publication of Kendall and Kyleah, the final book, is scheduled for later in 2012. Hill also wrote the popular Miranda and Starlight series of middle-grade novels about a horse and the girl who loves him. Hill will be happy to answer questions about how she approaches writing, what types of books she considers for publication, and give additional information about volumes currently available. Her company, Raven Publishing, Inc. is a fast growing commercial press with local best seller, Ride the Jawbone, by Jim Moore and the poignant memoir, The Road Between, by Florence Bell Ore, both published in 2011.
