Our Yellowstone with John Clayton at Bozeman Public Library
John Clayton is an author, journalist, essayist, and ghostwriter based in Montana. His book, Wonderlandscape: Yellowstone National Park and the Evolution of an American Cultural Icon was a recent honor book for the Montana Book Award. The book is an evocative blend of history and nature writing that tells the story of Yellowstone’s evolving significance in American culture through the stories of ten iconic figures. Mr. Clayton will give a presentation on his research in Yellowstone that led to his book.

Our Yellowstone with David Quammen at Bozeman Public Library
David Quammen is a science, nature, and travel writer and the author of fifteen books. He will discuss his new book The Tangled Tree: A Radical New History of Life and his work writing about Yellowstone. He has published hundreds of pieces of short nonfiction in magazines such as Harper’s, National Geographic, Outside, Esquire, The Atlantic, Powder, and Rolling Stone. Mr. Quammen has been honored with an Academy Award from the American Academy of Arts & Letters, and is a three-time recipient of the National Magazine Award.
