Dying to find a group of people to discuss books with? Country Bookshelf is currently hosting our in-house book club in the comfort of YOUR home! Our book clubs are free and open to the public, and we're always happy to see new faces. This month we're discussings Susan Orlean's The Library Book - a riveting journalistic look at the fire that consumed the LA Public Library. The New York Times named it a Notable Book and calls it "a sheer rich in insight and as varied as the treasures contained on the shelves in any local library" Join us for a dazzling discussion on this "love letter to a beloved institution and an investigation into one of its greatest mysteries." (USA Today) "Everybody who loves books should check out The Library Book" (The Washington Post).

Our Eventbrite schedule is avaliable with all upcoming book clubs.

Books are something social – a writer speaking to a reader – so I think making the reading of a book the center of a social event, the meeting of a book club, is a brilliant idea. - Yann Martel

Our Book Club meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 6pm. The book club will be meeting virtually for the foreseeable future, and is open to all - we are always happy to see new faces! Please join us for some fun and interesting discussion about great books!
