More about Griffin Writing Workshop
The Griffin Writing Workshop is a multi-week workshop taught by Maria Anderson, with the goal of helping writers meet a growing community of Bozeman-area writers, receive feedback on your writing from peers and instructor, get back into a writing routine, learn about revision, phonetics, rhythm, story structure, and publishing and participate in readings at the Country Bookshelf. Anderson also offers single-day classes and manuscript consultation for fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and hybrid categories. More About Maria Anderson
Maria Anderson is originally from Three Forks. Her work has recently appeared in Best American Short Stories 2018, Alpinist, Climbing, the Iowa Review, Western Confluence Magazine, and 32 Degrees. She has been awarded residencies from the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation, Joshua Tree National Park, and the Crosshatch Center for Art & Ecology. She earned a BA in Literary Arts from Brown University and an MFA in Fiction from the University of Wyoming. In the winter she teaches skiing at Bridger Bowl.
